Description

“Knock and it shall be opened unto you” – What did Jesus mean by that? We have been hearing about ‘the Creation’ – its vastness, its abundance and its infinite nature. Then why do we see scarcity in resources, disparity in people’s wealth, lack of health. Why some people are leading a more fulfilling life than the others?  Is abundance real or is it a figment of one’s imagination? We experience inequality because some are not connected to the vast source and others hoard on what they have.

In nature there is no hoarding of resources. The best fruiting tree offers its fruits to birds and animals instead of storing them for itself. As we share our gifts and uniqueness with the others we receive back more of it. Therefore anybody can create their personal abundance. It showers on every pot but only the empty ones qualify for it. There’s a direct connection between altruism, our health and happiness. When someone comes with a spirit of serving his uniqueness to others, they start to blossom and create personal abundance.

Plot

1.Location Artist’s studio in Bengaluru, India

2.Ceramic pot with a spoon suggests infinite source, always accessible. Intricate pattern on the pot suggests patterns of creation in microcosm and macrocosm

3.Earthen pot with two spoons suggests Earthly human body. Drawing goodness from the same source. The pot is open to knowledge, gifts, materialistic pleasures. Whatever it has received from the Creator, it is not keeping to itself but sharing with others. Just like other species, no other specie on this planet hoards except Humans. Abundance shower on those who share generously.

4.Gerbera Daisy suggests our fragile existence, which is perishable but the source isn’t. It symbolises devotion to Sun (primary source of life on Earth), innocence, purity, cheerfulness. The flower is native of Africa just like our race

5.Yellow symbolises optimism, abundance, sunshine
